Another great Fico Finance Nelson Giants win at the Hangar last night means that they book themselves a semi-final in Hamilton this Friday night. There are plenty of different variations on how the play-off picture can end up for the Giants should they win up north so please see below for the possible play-off scenarios.

2^nd Quarterfinal (tonight in Harbour): Harbour Heat Vs. Hawks Bay Hawks – Winner faces the Wellington Saints in Wellington for a semi-final on Friday 25th June.

Semi-finals Friday 25^th June:  Semi-final 1 -  Waikato Vs Giants (Hamilton),   Semi-final 2: Wellington Saints vs Hawks/Heat (Wellington)

If the Giants beat Waikato and the Saints win their semi-final the Giants would have home court advantage for game one of the three game finals series starting on Tuesday the 29^th June. They would then head to Wellington for the final two games (if required) of the finals on Wednesday 30^th and Thursday 1^st July.

If the Giants beat Waikato and the Saints are upset by the Heat/Hawks then the first game of the finals series would be away to the Hawks/Heat on Tuesday 29^th June and then move back to Nelson for the final two games on the Thursday 1^st  July and Friday 2^nd July.

The Giants losing up north doesn’t even come into my equation so I haven’t put that in!

Season ticket-holders you will have first chance to confirm your tickets and seats for any finals game at the Trafalgar Centre, with the tickets being the normal game price of $14 for adults, $8 for a Child and $40 Family Pass (2 x Adults and 2 x Children).
